Lake Travis

Didn't get a chance to take too many pictures this time out. It rained the previous night and I wasn't too keen on going out in the rain. Rob claimed the rain was the letting up and we would be fine. So I went out and hooked up the trailer in the rain.

The craft was wet from being left out in the rain overnight. As a result, the steering was tight from the wooden dowels in the rudders swelling. In this picture I have the engine warming up and the craft drying out.

This was the first time I actually flew the hovercraft off the trailer. I usually lift the craft off the trailer since it doesn't weigh much. These pictures show the craft on the trailer after being flown back on. The first time flying it on the trailer was easy. The second time I had a harder time lining it up. There was a bit of a cross wind which threw me off.
